VAERS is the American report system that is used to track the effects of vaccines on individuals. However, the system very clearly is not built to prove causation. All adverse events, including deaths, are reported as something that occurred after vaccination, but that is not necessarily an indicator that the vaccine contributed to or caused the adverse event. Read the data yourself, but keep in mind that if something bad happens after vaccination that does not mean that the vaccine was the cause, just like when someone dies with Covid-19 it does not necessarily mean that they died of Covid-19. Likewise, tens of millions of Americans have been vaccinated so there is obviously going to be higher rates of vaccinated people being hospitalized simply because more people are vaccinated.

Regardless of your stance on vaccines, reading the comments on this news report is fascinating. I would not assume that any of the thousands of people who commented were intentionally seeking to deceive anyone. Even if they misdiagnosed the cause of death, the stories of these people certainly highlight why people may be vaccine-hesitant.
Study Analyzing the Death of 215 People Who Seemingly Died From the mRna Vaccines
Cited by Dr. Peter McCullough, this study is a close look at 215 deaths that occurred post-vaccination, as reported by at least 67% medical professionals. Notes that since this study was done in the first couple months of mass vaccination that most of the deaths were reported in people who were elderly or who already had significant comorbidities.

“Clinically trained reviewers have undertaken a detailed analysis of a sample of the early deaths reported in VAERS (250 out of the 1644 deaths recorded up to April 2021). The focus is on the extent to which the reports enable us to understand whether the vaccine genuinely caused or contributed to the deaths. Contrary to claims that most of these reports are made by lay-people and are hence clinically unreliable, we identified health service employees as the reporter in at least 67%. The sample contains only people vaccinated early in the programme, and hence is made up primarily of those who are elderly or with significant health conditions. Despite this, there were only 14% of the cases for which a vaccine reaction could be ruled out as a contributing factor in their death.”

Note: this is a hypothetical explanation. But I do think it makes a really good point. Vaccines have been shown to trigger an immune response that leads to a broad spectrum of autoimmune diseases, including autoimmune thyroid disease. Our patients met the diagnostic criteria for ASIA (autoimmune syndrome induced by adjuvant); they were exposed to an adjuvant (vaccine), and they developed clinical manifestations of thyroid hyperfunction within a few days, with the appearance of antithyroid antibodies, despite being healthy before vaccination.
Conclusion: Graves' disease can occur after SARS-CoV-2 vaccination.

Summary:
A July 2021 close study of 390 pregnant women who received both doses of the Pfizer vaccine early on in their pregnancy, compared with 260 age-matched non-pregnant women who were also vaccinated. The study showed that there was no significant difference in how the vaccine affected either group, and there were no patterns of serious adverse effects in the pregnant women. However, only 57 women within the study actually gave birth within the timeframe of the study, though all of the 57 women did successfully carry their pregnancy to full term without significant complications. Some women did experience vaginal bleeding, premature contractions, or premature rupture of membrane (water breaking), but these rates were significantly low, even after vaccination
Surveillance of 6.2 Million People for Adverse Events After COVID-19 mRNA Vaccination
In a paper published in JAMA on 3 September 2021 by Nicola P Klein, MD Ph.D. and others examined 23 serious adverse events in 6.2 million persons who received 11.8 million doses of either the Pfizer or Moderna COVID mRNA vaccine. They did this over a period of 6 months. Klein et al. found no significant patterns of adverse effects caused by the mRna vaccines. One caveat is that the numbers of adverse effects are, in some instances, so low that the confidence intervals are quite large in some cases. (Google what “confidence interval” means for a medical study. ) Study was funded in part by Pfizer and the CDC.
